Nollywood actor Frederick Leonard has set fans agog with the public and seemingly romantic message he penned on Instagram to his colleague, Peggy Ovire. Fans and lovers of the actor had for a long time speculated that the two were romantically involved and see this heartfelt romantic message from Frederick to Peggy on her birthday as some sort of confirmation of their speculations. It is also rumoured that Peggy and Frederick had in truth, been privately involved in a relationship a number of years ago but the relationship had come to an abrupt end after Frederick reportedly broke Peggy's heart.

Even though Frederick is famous for his intense and passionate playboy turned loverboy roles in films, his personal life had always been something of a mystery as prior to his message to Peggy, he had never been publicly or romantically linked with other people. Frederick Leonard won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a movie at the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards in 2014 and in 2016, won the City People Movie Award For Best Supporting Actor of the Year (English) at the City People Entertainment Awards. Peggy Ovire who started her professional acting career in 2013 won the award for “Most Promising Actress Of The Year (English)” at the City People Entertainment Awards 2015 edition.
