In a video gradually making the rounds on the internet, a group of women from a religious denomination lying prostrate by the roadside and fervently conducting prayers while speaking in spiritual tongues.
The video which was shared by Facebook user Victor Dickson, was confirmed to be a gathering of women from the Methodist Church Nigeria. The women who turned OPET Junction Umuahia, into a makeshift prayer ground wailed to God and asked that they be sent good leaders to save Abia state. The prayer was also conducted to ask God to "uproot every faulty foundation in Abia state"

Sympathetic reactions have trailed the video as many Nigerians tagged governor of Abia state, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to come witness the cries and plight of his people. It's no longer secret that Abia state is steadily in the news in relation to matters like poor infrastructure, low standard of living, barbaric and inhumane acts towards widows and the destitute.
