A graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Ogbomoso has been filmed making a rare and strange demand from his alma mater.
The unnamed man dramatically demanded refunds of all the fees he made to the institution while he was schooling there. He said the certificate he obtained from the school he has returned necessary for his fees to be refunded.
The man who spoke in Yoruba, repeatedly said that he is at present suffering and needs refunds of his fees.
Hence, varying reactions have trailed such a strange request as many justified the man's action by describing education in Nigeria as futility and waste of years and resources.
Some while supporting the man's action suggested that he is right to return the certificate since it could not earn him a job or improve his life.
