"Rename University of Nigeria to Queen Elizabeth University of Nigeria" Adamu Garba Advises

Following the death of Britain's longest serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, former Nigerian senator Adamu Garba has suggested a way to pay tribute to the late queen. The politician advised that Nigeria immortalizes the deceased queen by renaming the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to Queen Elizabeth University of Nigeria. Adamu Garba deemed this homage fitting because the University of Nigeria, Nsukka is the first university in Nigeria.

Hilarious and Condescending backlash have followed the tweet by Adamu Garba as Nigerians have asked the former senator to go rename all of the tertiary institutions in Yobe state. They have also asked the politician if he would like the entire country to be renamed in the Queen's honour.

Adamu Garba Talba who is a former senator and a native of Karai-Karai was  elected senator for the Yobe South Constituency of Yobe state Nigeria. He is well known on the streets Tweeter for his unusual tweets and opinions which are often labelled ridiculous by Nigerians.
