The Labour Party's presidential aspirant Mr Peter Obi has provided proof to debunk rumours spread by the opposition that he graduated with a pass from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He posted pictures of his degree certificate and National Youth Service Corps discharge certificate on his social media platforms.

Supporters of Peter Obi have reacted to this by taunting the All Progressives Congress to also provide evidence of their presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu's proof of having acquired an education from the numerous universities overseas as he claimed. Nigerians have applauded Peter Obi's transparency on the matter of resolving controversy surrounding academic qualifications of all presidential aspirants. They urged the All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the People's Democratic Party's Atiku Abubakar to follow this exemplary lead.
