Comedian Chris Rock is once again in the news following the widely publicised slap he received from Will Smith at the Oscars after he made a bad joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith's alopecia. The comedian is getting drags from all corners of the world after comparing and making a joke on the death of Nicole Brown Simpson.
While performing in Phoenix, Arizona, the comedian revealed that he had been asked to host the 2023 Oscars and he said he wouldn't go back to the Academy award, as it would be like asking Nicole Simpson “to go back to the restaurant where she left her eyeglasses before she was killed."
This comparison has been deemed distasteful and uncalled for. Nicole Brown Simpson's sister called him out on his joke and Chris Rock is currently getting dragged for it.
Nicole Brown Simpson was the ex-wife of former professional American football player, O. J. Simpson. She was brutally stabbed to death on June 12, 1994. Her ex-husband was accused and tried for the crime but was found not guilty after a lengthy trial.
