A Nigerian lady who introduced herself as the daughter of late Obafemi Awolowo has in a viral video, warned the Yorubas to allow tribal sentiment to influence their support for a presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
The lady who introduced herself as Princess Marian Iyabode Awolowo urged the Yorubas to throw their weight behind the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi. According to her, Peter Obi is the most credible and competent frontline presidential candidate for the 2023 election.
She enjoined them not to allow tribalism force them into voting for Bola Ahmed Tinubu whom she described as grappling with ill health.
She further alleged that there is a secret plot against Bola Ahmed Tinubu that will ensure that his running mate, Kashim Shettima takes over from him after he has been "eliminated". She urged the Yorubas to avoid falling into such a ploy and vote for Peter Obi.
