October 20th, 2020 remains indelible in the memory of Nigerians as it is harrowing. It was the infamous day in which young unarmed Nigerians protesting against notorious disbanded Police Unit: Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) were maliciously shot at by Nigeria armed forces resulting in the death of many as well as heavy injurious.
Interestingly, Nigerians have since the regrettable incident been curious to know who among the three tiers of government, ordered the shooting and maiming of young Nigerians demanding good governance and an end to police brutality.
However, a top-ranked Nigerian soldier who revealed that he is currently serving in the Garrison Command, Victoria Island, Lagos has in a telephone interview, indicted former governor of Lagos State and current presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The unnamed soldier who spoke in Yoruba alleged that he is privy to a phone conversation between his commandant and Bola Ahmed Tinubu who perceived the EndSARS protest as a threat to his vested interest.
According to him, the plea from the former governor of Lagos to the commandant was that the unarmed protesters be shot with intent to kill.
