Nigeria Super Eagle's Captain, Ahmed Musa's career has been on nosedive since his move to Leicester City in 2016.
The player has not been able to regain his form which earned him a move to the premier league in 2016. His stint at Saudi Arabia ended in 2021 while he returned to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) where he had a brief spell before moving to Fatih Karagumuruk in Turkey.
He signed a two-year contract with the Turkish Club but only lasted at the club for one year as his contract with the club was terminated.
According to the club's statement, Ahmed Musa and the club reached a mutual agreement for the termination of his contract. It is reported that the player has not been able to impress neither the club management nor its fans.
The statement reads: "We have parted ways by mutual agreement with professional football player Ahmed Musa, who was included in our 2021/2022 season,” Karagumruk announced.
“We would like to thank Musa for his services to our club and wish him success in his future football career".
