Amidst the delicate situation in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) known as IPOB Autopilot, has announced a military alliance with a sister armed group.
Self-acclaimed spokesperson of Biafra and Finnish based Biafra nation activist,Simon Ekpa who also is the leader of the IPOB Autopilot, through his Twitter handle, announced that that IPOB Autopilot has entered into an alliance with the Biafra National Guard (BNG).
The Biafra National Guard (BNG) is a known armed group whose aim is to restore the defunct Biafra nation. Recall that BNG had in a viral video in which they showed off their armoury including rocket bombs, threatened to safeguard the integrity of the defunct Biafra nation.
Hence, according to Simon Ekpa, the alliance aims to ensure that Biafra is liberated from the shackles of Nigeria irrespective of whatever opposition they may face.

He tweeted: "BREAKING! I am privileged to announce that starting from today, the 2nd day of August 2022, the IPOB Autopilot & Biafra National Guard (BNG) are now in alliance to liberate Biafra by 2023. WE MOVE!
"Brothers in arms for the liberation of Biafra from Nigeria are complete".
