The governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma stirred controversy on social media during his interview on Channels Tv.
Hope Uzodinma who was reacting to a question from the host on the soaring acceptance of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour party across Southeast States, revealed that he does not want to join issues with Mr. Peter Obi.
He added that he is concerned about his party's presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and not about Peter Obi who is a member of another party. Hope Uzodinma further claimed that his party members are Obedient to APC; this prompted the interviewer to ask him whether there are Obidients in APC; referring to Peter Obi's supporters who describe themselves as Obidients.
However, Hope Uzodinma was able to clarify that his statement that the members of his party have absolute loyalty to the APC.
