The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has continued to prove being the most popular presidential candidate for the 2023 presidential election.
Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), and Kashim Shettima who represented his boss, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) were all present at the Nigeria Bar Association. However, it is Peter Obi who took the front seat of the several events at the conference; his arrival was greeted by a thunderous applause as well as his speech which was punctuated by applause and rounded off with a standing ovation from the audience.
Kashim Shettima was the underdog among the trio who put himself in the media limelight through his awkward dressing. The badly dressed former governor of Borno state stood out for the negative, for his wearing of a pair of sport shoes on his unshapely oversized suit.
Atiku Abubakar while speaking, reiterated that he aims to restructure Nigeria if elected and added that he would hand over the Federal Universities to the states' government for efficiency.
