History, it is said, repeats itself; for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, it appears repetition of history has become a routine.
Recall that two weeks ago, congregation at Pastor Paul Enenche Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja went gaga over the presence of Mr. Peter Obi in the midst during the Church's mid year service.
Interestingly, Mr. Peter Obi was given similar treatment yesterday the members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the ongoing convention at the Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
It was his first time to attend such an occasion but he was no doubt given a tumultuous welcome. Despite the effort of the event host to make the congregation regain decorum, the cheering was ear deafening; a reflection of his popularity among Nigerians as well as the aura of hope of a new Nigeria which he carries.
