In a news report shared by broadcaster and news anchor of GH one TV, Serwaa Amihere, a 42 year old Ghanaian resident of Assin Akomfode, is currently battling for his life at a hospital after he cut off penis while dreaming. According to the report, the 47 year old, dreamed of himself slaughtering a goat to help his wife prepare an evening meal. Halfway through the cutting, the man suddenly realised that he was instead, chopping off his own penis.

Reports further revealed that the man's wife rushed home after receiving a distress call and found her husband seated on a chamberpot filled with blood with his penis dangling in his hands. She helped stem the blood with a diaper and thereafter rushed him to the hospital. Latest reports have it that the victim of the bizarre incident is still alive and receiving treatment at a specialist hospital in Kumasi.
