 Nollywood actress, producer and Lagos state deputy governorship candidate Funke Akindele is celebrating her 45th birthday.  The actress shared lovely photos of herself on her social media platforms. She also posted a lively transition video that has left her fans impressed. Many have stated that the actress looked radiant while others observed that her choice of outfits for her 45th birthday celebration reflect her newfound political aspirations.

Olufunke Akindele was born on August 24, 1977, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.She is the second of three children (two girls and one boy). Her mother is a medical doctor while her father is a retired school principal. Funke Akindele came into the limelight after starring in the popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)-sponsored sitcom I Need to Know, which ran from 1998 to 2002. She played the role of Bisi, a curious but highly intelligent secondary school student. Funke Akindele's big break came in 2008 when she appeared in the popular movie Jenifa.
