Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has a few days after he met with the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, received some Nigerian youths in his Abeokuta residence.
Delegates from a civil society group: Frustrated Nigerian Youths led by Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy met the former president to discuss the 2023 general elections with him.
Recall that Obasanjo was quick to dispell the report peddled by Bola Ahmed Tinubu's allies who claimed that during Obasanjo's meeting with Bola Tinubu in his Abeokuta home over the week, that he endorsed the presidential ambition of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Reacting to the statement, Obasanjo pointed out that the report was fake and further described the peddlers as mischief makers.
Interestingly, while speaking to the youths, Obasanjo noted that the deteriorating condition of the country can only be salvaged by the Nigerian youths who he advised to take more responsibility in politics and affairs of the country.
