Nigerian Nollywood actors have become exceedingly precious jewel for the Presidential candidates for 2023 presidential election.
Presidential candidates have resorted to inducing Nollywood actors so as to employ their popularity and influence in swaying their numerous fans in their direction.
Recall the Exola Tv reported how veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji endorsed the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The endorsement which he did in a video came after a group of prominent actors and actresses jointly declared their support for the same presidential candidate.
On the contrary, another veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh is reported to have openly rejected Bola Ahmed Tinubu's monetary inducement for his endorsement. According to report, Nkem Owoh better known as Osuofia reportedly rejected the sum of 10 million Naira from the camp of Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the ground that he will not betray his conscience.
Interestingly, another veteran actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo is said to have threaded the path of Osuofia.
According to reports, Kanayo O Kanayo accused Bola Tinubu Tinubu of trying to buy his conscience with the sum of 50 million Naira. The report explains that the actor declared his support for Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party despite the offer from Bola Tinubu.

He is quoted to have said: “To Hell with your 50 million naira. I can't betray my father's land... I stand firmly with Peter Obi".
