The 2022 NBA Annual General Conference with the theme, “Bold Transitions”, will hold at the Eko Atlantic City in Lagos from 19 to 26 August, 2022. Presidential candidates of the Labour Party and the People's Democratic Party, Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar have both confirmed their attendance. Both aspirants are set to speak at the event in a panel session titled “Democratic Transitions in 21st Century Nigeria: 2023 and Beyond."
The NBA's Technical Committee on Conference Planning (TCCP), affirmed that the invitations had been extended to two other candidates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), they were both however, yet to confirm their availability.
