Masquerades have joined the list of people campaigning on behalf of APC's presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu as in a video making the rounds on the internet, a group of masqueraders were seen chanting support for the All Progressives Congress. The masqueraders were wrapped in fabrics boldly imprinted with the logo of the All Progressives Congress alongside photos of presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and running mate Kashim Shettima. The faces of the masqueraders were concealed in black masks.

Nigerians have expressed surprise and hilarity at the appearance of this masquerade dance. Many also wondered if this was another one of the many desperate stunts already attempted by the All Progressives Congress. It was also observed that the masqueraders tried to lure people to join in their chants.
