Modupe Sanyaolu, a Labour Party gubernatorial aspirant in Ogun State has decamped from the party to the People's Democratic Party.
Sanyaolu while officially joining the Ogun State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said there is nothing in the Labour Party.
The politician while speaking at the PDP secretariat in Abeokuta on Friday, said she led her followers from the LP to the leading opposition party.
According to the forner Labour Party chieftain, her decision to join the PDP was born out of the need to support Ladi Adebutu to win the 2023 governorship election.
“I was a governorship aspirant of the Labour Party. But today, I am joining the PDP. I have tested Labour Party and I know there is nothing there.
“My desire to join the PDP is to support Hon. Ladi Adebutu as the next governor of Ogun State. This is the winning party and I know we are here to win,” she said, urging Ogun people to support the PDP.
The Labour Party has no governorship candidate in Ogun as a result of it's crisis.

Electoral body, The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said the party leadership in Ogun did not submit lists of its guber candidate and that of those running for house of assembly.
