BREAKING: Sick APC Candidate Dies Abroad

Barely three months after winning his party primaries, Alhaji Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya, the All Progressive Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Jigawa Central is dead.

The APC stalwart reportedly gave up the ghost on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in a hospital in China where he was being treated for a lung infection.

According to reports, he was first admitted at a private clinic in Abuja before he was flown out to China when his condition deteriorated.


Ibrahim represented Dutse/Kiyawa federal constituency in the House of Representatives between 2011 to 2015.
