Singer Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable was earlier disqualified as a nominee of the HEADIES AWaRDS by the organisers of the award. The organisers cited a series of misdemeanours on the part of the singer across his social media platforms as reasons for the disqualification. The organisers also stated that Portable had threatened to cause harm or kill fellow nominees if he failed to receive the award.
Shortly after the news of his disqualification broke, the singer took to making a video in which he verbally listed all of his assets in "broken English''. Portable listed talent, God, ogo, a house, money, fame, a wife, children and moto as part of his assets. The singer also declared that he did not regret his actions which led to the disqualification. He also stated that God had blessed his family.
