Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to reports that he is making a move towards rejoining the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall that Fani Kayode had left the People's Democratic Party (PDP) on September, 2021, for the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Prior to his unexpected move the APC, Femi Fani Kayode was a staunch critic of president Muhammadu Buhari's administration and the APC. He did in one of his several statements online, note that he will never join the APC which he labeled a "Muslim party".
Hence, his switch of allegiance from the PDP to the APC came as a shock to Nigerians.
However, the victory of the PDP in the Osun state governorship election, the home state of Fani Kayode and the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the PDP, is said to be two of the several factors compelling Fani Kayode to rejoin PDP from the APC.
However, through his Twitter handle, Fani Kayode was quick to dispel the report of his rejoining the PDP. He described the report as untrue and urged the public to disregard it.
