Years After Their Historic Split And Later Reunion, Psquare Reveals What Actually Caused Their Breaking Up
Nigerians were taken aback in 2017 when sensational music superstars and twin brothers: Peter and Paul decided to part from each other after more than a decade of being on top of Nigerian music industry, plastering their names in the hearts and lips of music loving Nigerians.
The intervention of Nigerians especially from their diehard fans could not sway the two brothers into reconciliation. Before their unwanted separation which happened in 2017, several video clips of the two brothers in physical scuffle with each other made Nigerians to believe their feud was tied to their band; however, Paul Okoye otherwise known as Rude Boy has revealed in his recent interview what is contrary to what Nigerians think.
Their reunion which came November 2021 was long anticipated even though Nigerians had expected that it was the least to happen judging from their previous effort to reunite the duo music superstars.
Rude Boy while chatting with Media personality, Joey Akan disclosed against the public speculation that their separation was due to their music affairs or linked to their Psquare band. According to him, their now resolved fight with each other was due to some family issue. He added that he will not explain in detail the nature of the crisis in their family then.
"It was a family issue, it had nothing to do with music. And because I respect family so much, I owe nobody any explanation.”
