The rivalry between the fans of Nigerian music superstars: Davido and Wizkid was rekindled following Wizkid's demeaning statement about Davido while in an interview.
Wizkid who was answering question from the interviewer about his relationship with Davido, described Davido as his "boy"; a statement Davido's fans consider demeaning to his status and music career.
While speaking further after describing Davido as his boy, Wizkid claimed that Davido is a cool fellow whom he has known since the outset of his music career. He said the rivalry between them is actuated by their fans and social followers.
However, the fans of Davido were quick to react to the video of Wizkid's interview, especially to question what he meant by his claim that Davido is his is "boy".
