Furious supporters and members of Adoration Ministry, the parish of Fr. Ejike Mbaka on Sunday protested against the ban of Catholic members from coming to the ministry By Enugu Catholic diocese under the leadership of Bishop Valentine Onaga.

It would be recalled that while reacting to the backlash Father Mbaka's comment on Obi generated, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu issued a directive barring all Catholics from “attending all religious and liturgical activities” of Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka’s Catholic Adoration Ministry.

Mbaka drew the ire of many people when he declared that Obi, who he described as “a stingy man”, would never rule Nigeria.
His declaration caused ripples in the media space as it did not go down well with many Nigerians who demanded that appropriate sanctions should be meted on Mbaka.
As a result of the ban on his church, members of Mbaka's ministry who protested over the ban today June 19, were heard shouting "no more Onaga".
