Professor Yemi Osibanjo Did Not Betray Tinubu

 Pastor Osibanjo needs to get pumped with drip, Multivitamins and afang soup. Man has emaciated in the search for Power... One delegate commented

And another person commented: Just mix malt and egg for him, He really needs to replenish.

ExolaTV granted John Timothy (@johntimothy1234) interview on our Politics Today program. Timothy is a political science student from the prestigious University of Lagos.

Here is what he has to say;

But the big question here is; did he really betray Tinubu. If you say yes, how?

If Osibanjo stepped down for Tinubu, what more is there for him in the business of politics? Should he step down for ministerial appointment or for contracts to come?

The office of the president is the biggest job/office in this country, how can a man who have the incumbent president’s support who was willing to play presidential politics plus having all the resources required to jostle for the highest office in the land step down for you, because of what?

Because you merely or ultimately recommended him as VP in 2015?

Has anyone care to check PYO’s role in Lagos State Development and the APC party that got him to the level of being recommended for VP?

The ties that bind them are nothing but PYO’s commitment to public service.

A university teacher doubling as a legal practitioner, appointed Commissioner for Justice and later Attorney General for Lagos State served with no record of disservice. How many cases did any member of the public, citizen or a group won against Lagos State then?

He left to mind his business after the regime but called back again after the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2013, to come and design and produce a manifesto for the new political party. Man did a lot in the background too. And if he decided not to contest, for what reason will he be doing so?

Look, if he does not contest the primaries, he may never have the chance to jostle for the presidential job again, and if he contest and loose? Same thing! So isn't it better he took his chances especially when he has all the presidential backings and the will to play presidential politics for him.

We all saw what happened, didn't we?

So please, you all should cut the man some slacks.
