Mr. Ibu Identifies A Popular Nollywood Actor, His Good Friend Who Hacked His Social Media Accounts

Popular comic actor, John Okafor better known as Mr. Ibu had a few weeks ago disclosed that his social media accounts and email account were hacked.

Mr. Ibu's daughter, Chioma Jasmine disclosed that her father's hacked accounts comprising his social media accounts and email account linked to his bank account, have been recovered from the hacker.

Chioma Jasmine revealed that the person responsible for the act is Mr. Ibu's close friend and popular Nollywood actor. She added that he has been arrested by the police and now being interrogated.

She further noted that the actor in question has confessed to hacking the accounts and have since his arrest, pleaded for forgiveness as well as that his identity be concealed from the public. According to Chioma Jasmine, the suspect stated that his Nollywood career will be negatively affected should his identity be revealed.

"This is to let everyone know that we have cat fished the person that hacked MR Ibu’s verified Instagram account! He was arrested yesterday and the case is in the police station! He confessed to the crime and investigation is still on going, it’s so saddening to know that it was one of the colleagues in the nollywood industry.

“His motives are still yet to be known. Revealing his identity depends on how far the extent of the damages that he was using the account to do was ! Please help us let the general public know that they can stop reporting the account now as it had been restored to us! Thanks.”
