Nigerians were taken aback by a viral bedroom video of popular Nigerian musician, Oxlade with a lady, Blessing John Tamara who has now identified herself in a chat with an on air personality, Daddy Freeze as Oxlade's girl.
Blessing John Tamara who afterwards filed a lawsuit against Oxlade to demand indemnity over alleged criminal defamation, negligence and invasion of privacy, had claimed that Oxlade released the tape to his friends who afterwards made it public at her expense. She added that the incident that has brought mental and emotional damages upon her including that she has not been able to meet the members of her family because of shame.
Interestingly, while chatting with Daddy Freeze, the embittered lady narrated that she was lured to Oxlade's home by Oxlade and was later made drunk by him.
She revealed that she was not aware of Oxlade filming the act and would never have consented to it. According to her, she often feels shy whenever she was with her boyfriend and finds it difficult looking her boyfriend in the eyes; hence, the reason she covered her face as seen in the video.
In her words: “We were friends for over 2 years before we started dating. On that day, he invited me over to his house and when I entered his room he gave me a bottle of wine so I was tipsy.
"People who watched the video think I was trying to hide my face from the camera but I didn’t even know he was recording. I covered my face because I am a shy person and sometimes I can’t even look my boyfriend in the eye. I said something and he laughed so that was why I covered my face”
