Recall that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was rearrested in Kenya in June 2021.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was standing trial for alleged terrorism, running of an unlawful society, and inciting the public, fled the country after Nigeria military invaded his afara ukwu hometown in Abia state. The invasion by the Nigerian military resulted in at least 12 casualties and Nnamdi Kanu fleeing the country.
Announcing his rearrest in 2021, the attorney general of the Federation, Abubakar Malami disclosed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was rearrested in an unnamed African country through a military collaboration.
Interestingly, self-acclaimed disciple of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa through his Twitter handle, revealed that one Mrs. Nelly Ego, a US based Biafra activist, betrayed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya.
Simon Ekpa further urged Mrs. Nelly Ego to confess to the public how she sold out Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya.
"So all the juju this double agent woman did after betraying MNK in Kenya couldn’t save her from this rain? You dey learn work sha, you don’t know what is coming, you better confess what you did to MNK in Kenya. Your juju don fail you finally. This is the end of the road for you", Simon Ekpa tweeted.
While reacting to the allegation that she betrayed Mazi Nnamdi, Nelly Ego via her Twitter handle:@Nellyego, stated that Simon Ekpa blackmails her despite her genuine effort to ensure that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released from detention.
