The head of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has revealed the reason behind his recent outburst against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.
Father Mbaka had in an infamous statement at a midweek service in his ministry, prophesied that Mr. Peter Obi will never become the president of Nigeria. According to him, Obi is "too stingy" to be at the helms of the Nation's affairs. He further revealed that he prefers the presidential candidates of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressive Congress (APC) to Mr. Peter Obi.
However, the Catholic priest who has since then been heavily criticized by Nigerians, has disclosed what Obi's offence is actually.
According to him, Peter Obi when he was impeached as the governor of Anambra State sought his intervention which he didn't hesitate to offer. He added that his intervention resulted in the court ruling which returned Peter Obi to the Anambra State Government house.
Furthermore, he alleges that Peter failed to appreciate his efforts that led to his being returned to the government house. He said until Peter Obi returns to the Adoration Ministries to reward it for his intervention that he will never be forgiven.
“He is my friend. When he was chased out of Government House, he knew the role I played to bring him back, but how did he pay me back?

“Night meetings we attended to bring him back, ask him, ask Eselu Uga, ask Archbishop Anikwenwa, they know where and how we did it. I placed my hands on my Bible and he was brought back.
“Ask Peter since then what he used to reward Adoration. If you like Peter Obi, tell him to come and ask for forgiveness. Let him come and redo what he did. There is an altar of God he blasphemed; he defiled an altar of God, the Holy Spirit.”
