Does God Really Exist? Read Someone's Testimony

The day I gave my life to Christ, I still remember what happened vividly. I was 10. And we had moved to Abuja because my dad got a job there. After a while he had issues with his boss and he was fired.

We were told to vacate the apartment we were given and he had no money or means to get another apartment for us at that time.

We packed some of our stuff and went to keep them somewhere, the little money we had my dad decided that my heavily pregnant mum, sister and brother will use that to relocate to Osogbo while I stay with him in Abuja until he could afford to take me back to Osogbo or Lagos.

I was sad because I didn’t want to be separated from my siblings. Why does it have to me that will wait now?

My dad is a pastor; he became a pastor even before I was born so I’ve always known church. We pray a lot, fast a lot and we’re raised strictly in the way of d Lord but I’d never known God for myself.

I was just going through the motions on this day, after my dad, sister, mum and brother left for the Park, I started crying. I was left alone at home to wait until my dad got back and he would find a place for us to live temporarily.

I went into the room, knelt down while weeping, and then I said ‘God that my father always prays to. I am not sure you are real or if u can hear me, but if you can, please I want to leave Abuja with my siblings today, I don’t want to be alone here’ as a 10year old, God shocked me.

It wasn’t even a like prayer, it was like a conversation where I was kneeling, my dad suddenly burst the door open screaming ‘Gloria Gloria, pack your things, we are leaving now’ I was confused, you don’t have money, how will we leave? He then told me, when he got to the park.

My mum’s brother works in that same park; his friend saw them and asked for me. He had to tell the man that we didn’t have enough money for all of us to leave. The man told him to go and bring me and all our load, that he would take all of us to Osogbo for free

My sister, this was all the proof I needed that there is a God. I had never seen an instant miracle like that all my life, Why did God choose to honor the cry of a 10year old who didn’t even know how to pray & wasn’t sure he existed?

It wasn’t even about the free ride, it’s wasn’t about how much money we had, it didn’t mean we wouldn’t have any challenges in Osogbo, it was about God hearing me. A God I wasn’t sure existed. He looked at me, a 10year old and showed me how fast he can do miracles.
