In what many would describe as tarnishing the image of the Nigeria Police Force and a reflection of the Force' standard of operation and adherence to the ethics of policing, the two Police Officers shamelessly, remorselessly brawled in public to the cheers and jeers of the people they are paid to protect.
Interestingly, the cause of the unwanted scene is said to be a bribe from a motorist to the police at the Oshodi market. This notwithstanding, has become a longstanding tradition in the Nigeria community.
Policemen are offered bribe for incomplete or outdated particulars by drivers and vehicles owners. Those conveying unworthy items by unworthy means, pay their way through on the Nigerian road. These proceeds of bribe, are the basic dividends of policing in Nigeria, regrettably.

Consequently, how this bribe proceeds are shared between or among them, oftentimes result in the disgruntled ones who might have been cheated in the sharing despite their taking the front seat of collecting the bribe, resort to using their fists to protest such an injustice.
