Strange: Why Vice President Yemi Osibanjo Visited The Tomb Of Former Nigerian President



 As the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election for the 2023 presidential ticket of the party draws near, aspirants under the ruling party have been scampering to win the hearts of the party's delegates by appeals and by inducements as have been reported.

Vice President, professor Yemi Osibanjo is not left out among those trying to sell their candidacy to the APC's delegates as well as to Nigerians

The vice president took his visit to Bauchi yesterday to another level when he visited the tomb of the first Nigeria Prime Minister, Late Sir Tafawa Balewa in Bauchi state.

The vice president made this known on his Facebook page. He was in Bauchi state to woo some delegates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to support his 2023 presidential ambition.

He disclosed that he paid homage to the late prime minister at his tomb in Bauchi state, Nigeria.

“At the tomb of Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, the first and only Prime Minister of Nigeria to pay respect as we visited Bauchi”, he wrote.

The vice president seeks to succeed his boss in 2023; speaking on his presidential ambition, he noted that he wants to consolidate the current achievement of president Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
