Blasphemy: Another Woman Blacklisted As Irate Muslim Youths Injure Pastor, Burn Houses As They Begin Manhunt For Bauchi Woman

 Irate muslims youths enraged over the statement of a lady in Bauchi State has injured a pastor and burnt many houses as they went in search of a lady who was said to have blasphemed.

It was gathered that the lady had shared a video on social media in which a convert spoke about the Prophet of Islam, an action that got the ire of the muslim youths.

According to reports, the unnamed lady is a government worker originally from Gombe, but married in Warji local government area in Bauchi state.

After Juma'at prayers on Friday, May 20, the angry youths went in search of the woman and when they couldn’t find her, they went on a rampage, destroying properties belonging to Christians in the Katangan area of Warji Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

 

The muslim youths in the process allegedly injured a number of Christians, including a Pastor of ECWA church, and were said to have vowed to deal with the lady if found.

This is coming in the wake of the heightened tension occasioned by the murder of Deborah Samuel, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, who was lynched and set ablaze by her colleagues over alleged blasphemy.
