Senate Takes Decision On The Death Of Osinachi Nwachukwu, Instructs Nigeria Police

The death of Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has become a national concern as the Senate president, Ahmad Lawan orders the Nigeria Police Force  to carry out proper investigation on the cause of her death.

Senator representing Anambra south, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah drew the attention of the senators  to the death of gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu whose husband is heavily fingered in her death.

However, reacting to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s statement on the Senate floor, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan revealed that protection of the life and properties of the citizens is a necessity.

According to him, the citizens are valuable and the government must ensure that they are protected. He added that the police should conduct proper Investigation on the cause of the death of Osinachi Nwachukwu.

He said:“The authorities should investigate the death of this citizen, and the lives of every citizen must matter. This is one death too many.”
