How 73 Cocaine Sachets Were Hidden In Bedsheets In Port Harcourt By Brazilian Returnee –NDLEA Blows Lid Open

  

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 39-year-old Brazilian returnee, Nnanna Anayo Michael, for unlawful possession of cocaine at the inward screening of passengers on board Qatar Airline flight QR1433 from Doha to Port Harcourt on Tuesday, 29th March.





According to the agency, about 73 cocaine sachets were hidden in 4x1 feet factory-sewn colorful bedsheets, with five of the bed sheets containing 12 sachets each, and the sixth bed sheet containing 13 sachets.

It was reported that an immediate follow-up operation to the discovery culminated in the arrest of Monday Alaisu, a 50-year-old man who was said to have traveled from Lagos to pick the drug from Nnenna.

 Alaisu was arrested at the airport’s car park while waiting to receive the parcel from Nnenna, with the latter’s photograph taken at the Brazilian airport and his international passports Data Page in his hand.
