Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has revealed that one thing that can prevent him from contesting the presidential election slated for next year.
In a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, the former Minister of State for Education said only death can stop him from contesting the polls.
It would be recalled that Governor Wike is among the litany of aspirants that have declared their intention to jostle for the nation’s number one seat.
While responding to a question on what can make him
withdraw from the presidential contest,
he said:
“The only
thing that will make me withdraw is if I am dead''
