How A Middle-Aged Man Raped A 92-year-old Woman With Charm On His Waist – Borno Police

 44-year Zakariya Ya’u is currently in the custody of the Borno State Police for allegedly having forceful sexual intercourse with an unnamed 92-year old woman.

The Borno State Police Commissioner, Abdu Umar told newsmen in Maiduguri, the state Capital that Ya’u allegedly committed the crime at Mufa “A’’ ward in Askira Uba Local Government Area of the state.

While giving the breakdown of the incident, Umar said that the nonagenarian while sitting close to an uncompleted building was dragged into the building and raped by the suspect on March 24.

The woman too weak to fight back against her rapist was screaming for help and crying helplessly according to Umar, adding that Ya’u was caught having sex with her forcefully by the 29-year old grandson of the old woman with the name Usman Haruna, who alerted the police before the suspect was arrested.

“The grandson caught him on top of the woman with his trousers down and a charm tied around his waist,’’ the police commissioner said.

The Police Commissioner said Ya’u admitted to the crime, with the case currently under investigation as the suspect would be arraigned at a later date.
