Former President Good Luck Ebele Jonathan has spoken on his rumoured 2023 presidential ambition. Ex-president Jonathan who was ousted in the 2015 presidential election by the current president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has been rumoured to be nursing a return to Aso Rock in 2023.
Prominent Nigerian Online Newspaper, Sahara Reporters had reported that a quarter of president Muhammadu Buhari's inner circle favour ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan at the expense of some presidential aspirants under the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Interestingly, earlier today, some supporters of the ex-President, besieged his Abuja office with musical band to urge the Mr. Jonathan to contest in the 2023 presidential election. According to his supporters, the economy, security have worsened since his departure. They further claim that the unfriendly policies of the current leadership have aggravated the hardship of Nigerians and making many beggars.

Good Luck Ebele Jonathan in his response to their request, noted that he can not reveal at present whether he will contest in 2023: “I cannot tell if I’m contesting.”
