The 2023 Presidential race just got more interesting with the presidential declaration of Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo in the early hours of today.
After months of speculations, insinuations, and conjectures, the VP finally threw his hat into the ring with some sections of the populace averring that this is a betrayal of his godfather, Bola Tinubu who is also eyeing the position.

A lot of political pundits are of the opinion that Osinbajo's declaration will pitch him on a collision course with Tinubu, a former Lagos Governor and APC National Leader, who many believed was Osinbajo’s benefactor.
Tinubu today after meeting with 14 APC Governors was reminded by one of the reporters that his son (referring to Osinbajo) just declared today to which he replied: “I have no son grown enough to declare”.
