The news of Russia's intention to invade Ukraine after president Vladimir Putin in a viral broadcast, announced Russia's recognition of separatist regions in Ukraine and subsequent deployment of the Russian military as an intervention in the internal crisis of the Ukrainians, to a layman, Russia military which is one of the best in the world, would sweep Ukrainians off the surface of the world with 24 hours of combat.
However, it appears Ukraine's resistance to what is widely adjourned as unprovoked onslaught by Russia, has not only withstood their military aggression to an obvious extent but has also inflicted heavy casualties on their assaulters.
Unexpectedly, a member of Ukrainian cabinet has sarcastically appealed to the Red Cross Society to assist in the evacuation of Russian casualties.
The Russian soldiers seem to have lost the war even before it started; this is because, most of the Russian soldiers, arguably, are more convinced that they are fighting an unjustifiable course.
Notwithstanding, president Vladimir Putin who is bent on his decision to subjugate Ukraine at the expense of the lives of Russian Soldiers on one side and the lives of the Ukraine's civilians and properties on the other side, has been psychological tormented by the Ukraine's resistance and president Volodymyr Zelensky's poise to defend his nation at all cost including his life. Understandably why he, Putin showed off his nuclear weapons, a sign that he is considering his military inferior to the Ukrainians current war power.
