Popular Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia popularly known with the stage name '2Baba', has donated a modern recording studio to the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State.
This was made known by his music record label, Hypertek Digital through its social media pages.
The new studio was commissioned by the singer and the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Ogunbodede.
During the commissioning of the recording studio, the VC, Professor Ogunbodede who felt elated about the project, noted that the University can now be said to now have the best recording studio in the country.
Prof. Ogunbodede said: “As far as the Nigerian university system is concerned. So we can proudly say that today, we have the best recording studio in the country of any university. And that is because of your magnanimity and philanthropic gesture.”
