On Monday, 21st of February 2022 ,Popular Nigerian actor, Ugezu J Ugezu shared his views on DNA test among Africans who conduct it on their children to prove or disprove paternity.
According to the actor, Deoxyribonucleic (DNA) test is the reason behind many failed unions in Africa. He stated that DNA test is not an African thing and can never be, because to him, any child who addresses any African man as 'Father', the man automatically becomes a father to the child.
He claimed that this was the reason people of old lived their lives and enjoyed peace of mind. In his words:“A child who calls an African man father is an African man’s child. Period. This DNA thing is not really an African thing. A child born to an African man is the African man’s child. Our fathers held this belief and enjoyed peace of mind. This DNA stuff is tearing many homes apart and destroying many innocent children. In THINGS FALL APART, the mother Earth rose against Okonkwo for killing the child who called him father. THINK!”.
In another development, Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie via her social media pages taunted her female colleagues who pretend to be her friends but are always following her on social media just to get negative updates about her.
The actress revealed this while Sharing her picture on a movie set. She placed a curse on them, praying that her frenemies will experience whatever they wish her.
