Controversial preacher and the founder of Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church of God, Evangelist Funmilayo Adebayo more known as Mummy G.O means many things to many people.
To some, she is speaking the undiluted truth on sin and piety, to others, she is a weird preacher who has turned the kingdom of God to a given with her controversial and oftentimes, bizarre sermons.

In one of her teachings during one of her church services,
Mummy GO has disproved the claim that speaking in tongues is a heavenly
language but noted that speaking in tongues is like a Yoruba man speaking an
Igbo language.
In her words:
“Excuse me, speaking in tongues is language. And let me tell you, it is not the language of heaven. Speaking in tongues is Yoruba man speaking Igbo live”
