The spate at which Nigerians are slaughtered on the alter of specious money-giving deities in the guise of ritual killings, at present, requires that the president of the Federation declares an emergency on that regard necessary to prevent an evil from becoming a tradition.
However, the case of this woman who gave her name as Nnenna Eze takes another form of inhumanity other than direct sacrifice of a human to a money-giving deity.
Mrs Nnenna Eze as she claimed, was caught with two infant babies whom she claimed she had purchased from Hausa women. According to her, the children will be auctioned to willing buyers who will then decide what purpose they would serve them; including money ritual.
She also revealed while under duress from her interviewers that she was once married and had a child whom she said has died.
Indeed, as concerning as it is shocking, human life has been reduced in this part of the world to wares that are disposed of without hinges.
In another development, an eleven-year-old child-kidnapper was napped in Anambra State. The victim, a five year old boy was seen resisting his abductor in tears. He was asked whether the eleven year old Kidnapper was his elder brother as he had told the witnesses, but he said he had never met him before. This led to the public questioning the eleven year old boy who them revealed that he has been leading children to his paymasters who would give him some money for luring children to them.
