An Upper Area Court sitting in Abuja has revoked the bail it granted Hauwa Saidu, more known as Jaruma, who specializes in selling aphrodisiacs otherwise known as Kanyamata.
Jaruma, currently facing a four-count charge of 'defamation of character, criminal intimidation, injurious falsehood, and the publication of falsehood to incite the public against Ned Nwoko was granted bail on January 28 after four days in police custody.
Barrister Ismail Abdullahi Jibrin, the Presiding judge revoked her bail after she and her counsel failed to appear in court at the resumption of her hearing today. Her legal team also failed to send any representative.
The furious judge ordered for her rearrest while also ordering that she be remanded at the Suleja Correctional Centre, until March 17, 2021, the date of the next trial.
