A former commissioner of Works and Transportation in Ekiti State, Mrs. Funmilayo Theresa Ogun has written to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu rejecting her appointment as the running mate to Bisi Kolawole, the PDP candidate for the forthcoming guber polls in the state.

According to Mrs Ogun, she was not notified of the nomination as she rejects it for personal reasons.
She further assured the party of her readiness to work for the victory of the party at the polls.
