“What the APC owes Tinubu is a befitting burial, not the presidency”…

A popular Twitter influencer and activist @Firstladyship claims that the Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu who recently visited president Muhammadu Buhari to officially declare his interest in the 2023 presidential election, should  forgo his presidential ambition.

The said lady was reacting to the calls by individuals and groups for the former governor of Lagos State to be compensated with the highest political seat in country come 2023, for his contribution and unnamed sacrifices to the political advancement of Nigeria.

A group, Ondo State Network for Tinubu had said that the National leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should be compensated with the party’s Presidential ticket in 2023 for his sacrifices for both the party and the country: "there is no better candidate in the southwest to contest the ticket with the APC National Leader".

Meanwhile, the activist questions why the destinies of 200 million Nigerians will be used as a "thank you" to Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose sought for power has become increasingly suspicious.

“How do you say thank you to a mere mortal with the destinies, the lives & the livelihoods of over 200m people?

“Allow the old man to enjoy his old age. Whenever God finally calls him, then you organize a befitting State Burial in his honor. Honor him one whole month if you like..”
