Wahala: "A Born Again Man" Writes To JAMB To Apologize For Cheating In His JAMB Examination 21 Years Ago, Read Shocking Thing JAMB Did To Him. He Must Be Regretting Now

 

A man whose name is given as Timipade Kempepade who claims to have become a “born again Christian” is set to lose his degree certificate over a self-confessed examination malpractice conducted 21 years ago.

Mr. Timipade willfully wrote to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to seek forgiveness for his involvement in malpractice during his University Matriculation Examination (UME)now known as Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Mr. Timipade letter of apology to JAMB reads in part: “With regret and sincere apology to JAMB, 1, Timipade Kemepade, with Certificate No. 33208803GA confess that l participated in examination malpractice 21 years ago while sitting my JAMB examination.

“I, therefore, seek the forgiveness of JAMB. I sincerely regret my youthful exuberance.”

However, JAMB in its response to Mr. Timipade’s apology, rejected his apology and his reasons for indulging in such an examination misconduct 21 years ago: “your apology and reasons are “rejected in their entirety and are, therefore, not admissible.”

Mr. Timipade was told by JAMB that his apology will only be accepted if he willfully relinquishes all the certificates he has obtained with the result of the University Matriculation he claimed to have indulged in malpractice.
